2010 - Year of the Nettop. Are you ready?

In the last weeks of 2009, we are seeing an ever-growing list of up and coming Nettop machines, with the power to run current games and 1080p video playback. As the recession continues to bite, it looks like manufacturers will start to pump up well specced Nettops which hit the perfect price point that did Netbooks so well over the past 12 months.

The target markets look to be media PCs for under the TV, replacement PCs to replace aged 486’s and Pentiums and kids PCs. From our point of view, the low power usage and cheap entry cost are excellent considerations that are not being promoted enough just yet.
